My friend and i are looking for some good ds co-op games any genre don't care if download play or multicard any suggestions would be helpfull.

I can only think of Contra 4. Also, don't know of any games that have WI-FI co-op.

Final Fantasy CC Echoes of Time. It supports up to four players either locally or over wifi. Can't go wrong with it if you like co op. It's not a great single player game, but it's great with friends.

Also, Phantasy Star 0 is out in Japan and is in the same vein as FF. It's coming to the US this year. Also very fun.

And keep an eye out for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It's not wifi, but will support 4 player co op locally. Coming to Japan on May 30.

We will try crystal cronicles echoes of time can't wait for kh huge fan he didn't like ring of fates hopefully he will like crystal cronicles echoes of time i love single player tho wi fi to laggy for me. Thanks guys.

I like this topic, I'm often looking for COOP games too ... for any system.
Here's my share:

Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles (both versions) - action rpg
Advance wars (in skirmish) - turnbased strategy (can even be played on 1 ds)
animal crossing - "social game" (WIFI too)
Bomberman - Hey, it's bomberman

(WIFI too with Bomberman 2)
Castlevania - (boss-runs)
children of mana - dungeon crawler (other "of Mana" too?)
TMNT/Turtles - beat'm'up

I've googled a list, but it doesn't say much. Castlevania eg. is mentioned too, but that's just a boss-run/mini-game.

I think the Lego Starwars' are story coop, not sure though.

Phantasy star 0 looks epic may give it a try thanks for all the suggestions he hates castlevania i don't know why yes lego games are co-op but he has them on his 360 so we could play them on that.

star wars revenge of the sith was pretty fun for beat em up co-op and there is a 3d xwing portion i think you can play as well...im not sure

You could try Soma Bringer's co-op mode. The game is an action RPG similar to zelda/mana games.
Although it was only released in Japan there is an English patch (on this site) which takes care of all the menus and most of the text.

I second Soma Bringer. It's in Japanese but very much worth the time to patch it, assuming you can't read Japanese. Too bad they never released it anywhere else except in Japan though. It's a fantastic co-op game to play with friends.

is Soma Bringer's co-op local wireless or wifi?
only local
wish it were wifi though :/

im pretty sure nintendo would make a lot more money if they implemented the wifi feature a lot more in some games.

Lego Starwars 2 has coop but also has many bugs including some that stop you from completing levels.

Star Wars revenge of the sith is pretty good.

And Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy has an co-op function that lets (if both have the game)
players play any track and complete them together! just drop in and play the game, but when it is co-op your partner, that in singelplayer is CPU, are now your friend!
it has a lot of bugs, but still a good game!

Bangai-O is excellent, single-player or multi-player. If you have any interest in platforming/shooting, you will love this game.
