If you check out Goldeneye's new website you'll see that along the bottom are a few logos that you may recognize. The Wii is there, as well as a couple of others, but one that sticks out to me is the Nintendo DS logo. Is this a confirmation? RMC thinks that the DS version may stick even closer to the N64 roots. Thanks to EVERYONE who sent this in!

It can happen. Its Activision. They like money and bleeding dry nostalgia.

3DS version coming May 2011.

If you check the link, one of the options is to see the game for nds, so I guess this is the 2nd GoldenEye on NDS? 3DS?

I have little faith in this remake regardless of whether its on 3ds or wii......its just that Rare made goldeneye legendary....and only they could keep it that way.....
that and activision has a terrible record for this sort of thing...

The trailer for the game says Exclusively for Wii though, so unless they just mean the remake is for the Wii and that they are porting the original to the DS, I do not think there is actually a DS version.

The website reveals pretty much that there'll be a NDS version.

Go to Game Overview in the site ... ok, forget about the Online Multiplayer bla bla bla ... oh look! There's a NDS section ... too bad it says coming soon -.-

Why not? It's happened before.
This. Seems like lots of people forget the DS has actually already got a GoldenEye game during its early stages of life, it was a decent game as well so the site might just mean the game that already was released.

Of course, I'm not saying there can't be any more GoldenEye game(s) for the DS, because as Hadrian said, Activision loves mikling their franchises till they're dead.

And even then...
