Hacking GnM Max Media?

i found a firmware for the max media dock, if i put the firmware on my games n music card, and got a slot 2 card, would it work the same, and if so, there is a program for running ds commercial roms, and also, sorry if this is in the wrong section, i'm new

Is the firmware a .nds file?

I don't think you can but I haven't tried (I don't have a slot-2 card).

The Games n Media card was not meant to play commercial Nintendo DS games. You are basically out of luck if you bought it for that purpose.
