Not unreasonable at all... EDIT; The guide can even be done with a phone if you have SD cards the right size
@SSG Vegeta You should really open yourself up to suggestions before bluntly turning them down. The teasing here is a bit much but honestly you're mildly infuriating

You all act like you never used an installation service my dicsion is mine & mine alone I'm done.

I can't name one person in the 3DS scene who has honestly. 3DS has been hacked on latest firmwares through just softmods numerous times over the years.

Are you forgetting you would have to read a wall of text for the hardmod guide also? Not even sure what you're arguing at this point :-/ and what was in the past isn't relevant here, anyway. We were discussing whether it was worth paying someone to do ntrboot for you. It isn't, because there's no risks, and there's no special equipment needed.

Not arguing anything. Just pointing out how fast it'd be to be learn to solder well enough for a hardmod. Also you just need pictures of the solder points. Not sure why the hardmod guide is so long.

I just don't like how people make soldering out to be harder than it is. It discouraged people from even trying.

First of all, if he doesn't have a computer, hardmodding is impossible. You can install the mod, but you can't use the patcher required to inject B9S in your NAND since it requires a computer. But yes, hardmodding IS easy, it's a joke if you have the tools, but is also the riskiest of the methods available since you can potentially mess up the motherboard and good luck replacing that if you are a beginner.

Anyway, enough bashing, all suggestions have been given, let's drop this people. He got suggestions about what to do, he got offers for help and he got a link to the thread listing the people offering the service he was looking for. I think that's enough to close this thread...
