Hardware get rid of scratches on outer layer?

well my 3ds has scratches on the outside... not really a big deal usually, but it looks kind of deep

i have no idea how that got there :/

anyways how do i get rid of scratches off the top layer? it'll be nice if there was a way to get them off

Take a flathead screwdriver and pry the clear plastic off the top of the top screen.

I'm not sure if it it the same with that shiny aqua blue 3DS, but the black one at least does have a transparent plasticlayer on the outside.

You might be able to get rid of your scratches using some kind of repairing gel for displays. You can order them on the internet or buy them in shops that do have cellphones too.

They kill small scratches really good.

And after that... I suggest using a protective shell for your 3DS... ^^"
