Much better visuals. And maybe gameplay (at this point I cannot say battle need any more changes if we count alola form) improvment like riding pokemons instead of tm in sun/moon, all direction movement. And gyms. And finally arceus.

I can almost guarantee you of one thing. The Gen 4 remakes are up next on the release schedules. And I'm excited! Sinnoh's my personal fav. Platinum is my most-played Pokemon game. We'll have to see what direction Nintendo takes from here. In about six months, we'll know where we can expect the Gen 4 remakes to drop on.

Gen 4 is my favorite generation of Pokemon. Been looking forward to a remake for a long time, it's possible they might do it, but they might not either, so you never know, but I'm down for it :P

They've done remakes for the last three regions one after another. If they keep up this pattern (which is making them money, so of course they will), we'll see a Gen 4 remake pretty soon.

Uh, and? We know it's gonna play games, does anything else really matter in this situation?
The main Pokemon games are always on handhelds, and if the NX isn't a handheld like the rumors are saying, then the Gen 4 remakes likely won't be on the NX.

Game Freak will only do main series games on handhelds to increase profitability. If NX is only a console, they'd be shooting themselves in the foot.
that's correct I also believe they said in an article a while ago they wouldn't put any mainstream games on a console only the handholds. That being said I wouldn't mind a pokemon game like pokemon coliseum or XD gale of darkness. Something different than a the generic beat the evil team, collect all badges and become the champion, those games had a different take and story from the usually pokemon world games which I did quite enjoy.

Black and White was a change from that extremely generic formula which I really enjoyed. I do hope that more Pokémon games will stray away from that formula and introduce actual plot twists that aren't predictable.

Like, say, allowing a degree of success for the antagonist team. Letting them win a bit.

Underground!
Sinnoh megas!
Pal park!
PokéRadar!
Pokétch!

Are you not entertained!
poketch kind of meh. but everything is awesome especially underground. I didn't steal flags from friends much but looking for fossils and other rare items was fun. I just never found myself using the poketch apps back then but honestly cant remember if any apps were really helpful

Edit I do remember after I looked the apps up that I used the map to track cresselia and mespirit as they roamed and I don't remember that daycare app but that sounds very helpful

@SylverReZ, so their only way of getting money is thru scams?

    @Xdqwerty, Exactly.

Why not they just mine Monero instead of scamming vulnerable people? If they have a decent machine they can hit a jackpot at any given time.

Bitcoin on the other hand, requires a very powerful mining rig and is more costly.

Technically, cryptocurrencies aren't illegal, as long as you don't use it for criminal activity. If you sign up with an exchange, and that they get a tip from law enforcement, they have the right to freeze your assets.

@SylverReZ, Yea I heard law is vastly different there

Nigeria's central bank did make crypto illegal before, until last year they lifted the ban. Always make sure to check before you exchange. ;)

@SylverReZ, speaking of crypto i remember reading about a guy who spend like 10 grand bitcoin on a couple pizzas (when bitcoin wasnt as worthy as nowadays)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's mental. If he had saved up when Bitcoin sky-rocketed in price, then he might've become the next Jeff Bezos for all I know.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, he couldnt know the price was gonna skyrocket anyway
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Then it dropped sometime in 2022, 2021 was when it really went up in price.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, I also recall watching a video of some failed games with their own crypto currency or smth like that, lemme link it to you (it's in spanish tho)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, I remember that. Didn't Steam ban games with NFTs before somehow devs managed to circumvent it? Think EA tried to dabble in NFTs too.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Glad to hear people realise that NFTs aren't worth it these days. They realise that they're JPEGs hosted on a file-hosting site like AWS or Google Drive.
