Gaming GC2-D2B Wii + Wii-Clip?

Well I just bought a used wii which turned out to be GC2-D2B.

What's the best modchip for it?

And I was thinking of getting the Wii-Clip just in case the drive dies and I need to send it back to nintendo.

And wanted to get this modchip if Wiikey works:

It's a wii-key clone, I can get it cheap with my reward points!

I checked on the site that asks, it is infact GC2-D2B

i don't know if I should chip it, or get Twilight and wait for a iso loader.. I just don't want to get a tp that doesnt work, I heard some don't, was looking but didnt find it where.

I think it should take a while until an ISO loader comes by (if it does at all). I recomend you get this one: http://www.volumerate.com/details.vr/sku.60005

i thought you had to solder the board onto the wiiclip as well?

Well its allmost surely a clone but it would work like a normal WiiKey and for 5$ what risk are you then taking?

And the WiiClip v1 is for D2CKey / D2PRO only.
