I was thinking about buying this http://www.amazon.co.uk/GameCube-Controller-Adapter-PC-USB/dp/B0089NVTDM GC to USB adaptor to use devolution and nintendont since it's HID compliant and I was wondering, do HID compliant adapters work on wii game loaders like wiiflow so I can play brawl with a GC adapter from vWii?

But then it struck me if I buy this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BS520SG/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8 I can use the GC controller on both wiiU mode and Wiimode.

So, do gameloaders accept HID adapters so I can play brawl or should I go with the second adapter?

From what I understand, the console will simply pick up the Gamecube controller as a Classic Controller. Really nice find, I didn't know they make those and this is actually a very common question.

The first method wouldn't work AFAIK due to a lack of drivers, but this adapter should and probably will work just fine for games which support the Classic Controller.

I understand how the wii would pick up the GC controller as a classic controller and map the buttons to reproduce the classic controller. But what I was wondering is if wiiflow or any similar wii backup launcher offers HID controller compatibility like devolution and nintendon't do, if so I could run both wii and GC games from a USB to GC adapter
