Hacking GBX Loader - can't remove games from favourites?

Can anyone help me with this - when i've added new games they automatically end up favourited. It may be because i should have turned the favourites filter (star button) before updating the usb drive. But i can't remove them - i've gone into the settings where the favourites is 0, tried changing up and back to 0 again. But they remain in favourites

Any help or advice would be really appreciated. Thanks!

try this: delete your usb loader gx on your SD card and reinstall the freshly recovered one here (usb loader gx version 1271) ==>https://sourceforge.net/projects/usbloadergx/files/Releases/New revisions (3.0+)/

thanks i'll give that a try. Will i lose all my settings by doing this? Ie which games are favourited, parental controls, video modes (eg force ntsc for spiderman 3) etc

It is a feature;
you will want to be able to see it when you add a new game no matter what, right? It is marked as new, not favourited
It will go away when it is not "new" anymore. 1 day or 2 days? Can't remember.

no unfortunately any new games i've added remain stuck in favourites permanently. No way to remove them. Sounds like USB Loader has got corrupted so i'll try a reinstall

Hmm. I've reinstalled GBX loader (in SD card apps folder, replacing boot.dol, meta.xml and icon.png?). Same problem - have got games in favourites i cant remove. In the settings/game load for each game the"favorite level" is set to 0 so not sure why it's showing up in favorites at all

I also have another issue if that helps offer any more clues. I have a parental lock so kids can only play games level 0 and 1 (in settings/parental control). That means when it's locked all games set below this should show up - but there are a few that dont...

Any thoughts or advice appreciated. is there a file in settings i can delete and start again with? As long as saves arent lost that would be okay...

@tswntk actually i think you're right, thanks for pointing this out. It looks like it's only recent games i've added that have gone into favorites

If it helps anyone else re missing games from lock screen, i'd accidentally set the lock setting (at the top in settings) to ON for a couple of games. Thanks everyone for the help!

excuse me for the delay

Delete the "" config "folder at the root of the SD card (or save the" "config" "folder on your computer)
Then restart usb loader gx, it must be configured correctly ??
