Just got the coloured icing today
I'm gonna make some next week so I can take them to a party at the weekend, still need to decide exactly what I'm doing but it's going to be fun! Who else is playing?
I just tried it this saturday, my eletrcity stopped in the house for few seconds for some weird reason so the choclate writing got kinda messed up, I took picture anyways, I'll go to my friends house and use his SD2PC adapter anyhows, but I don't think I will take part of the contest since my cake is partly baked, it's not even a cake now

I would with my homemade cake mix, but frankly I'm too busy baking my step-sister a cake to celebrate the fact that she lost her virginity. Seriously...it's more of a joke cake that's going on Facebook...and I'm going to hand draw some things on it as a joke...if there were prizes I would be more inclined to participate. I am an excellent baker though
. There is a reason why everyone has put on weight in my family XD!
Hm, I'm getting a bit sick of the ethic that people need prizes around here to bother to work on these group projects, they're supposed to be fun! It's fun to think outside the box, try something outside of your comfort zone and see what other people come up with too, without the bitching that comes from the sore losers when there's something at stake. Maybe it's just me but I love these little group challenges. I really miss them, actually.

I baked for the first time... EVER, this morning.
Had a box of brownie mix lying around and said... fuck it, LET'S DO THIS.
So I pretty much just followed the instructions on the box. My roomie even made me wear the whole apron and everything... (pray I don't see those pics ever)
Anyway, in the end, they looked... terrible... horrible... frightening.
I was a little scared to pick them up, let alone stick one in my mouth.
In the end though, they tasted AWWWWIGGGGGHT, and I guess that's all that matters? I don't really know how the baking world works... (V_V )
(that "goo" is caramel...

It's a good idea, though it seems nobody made one yet
I do bake cakes every now and then, but It's always big cakes, I never tried cupcakes.
There's one week left, I dunno if I'll do something, I'll have to find a gaming theme first.

Vanilla Sponge with vanilla flavoured blue icing coated in blue dyed coconut with white chocolate button eyes with blobs of milk chocolate, and a tesco value cookie shoved in their mouths =D

here are my muffins
Sorry, I tried to make a gbatemp logo on the muffins using stencil and sugar powder, but I didn't manage to make something good-looking.
So, they are "no theme muffins" from Cyan.
You can imagine they are LocoRoco balls if you want
Recipes for 6 muffins :
100g flour
50g sugar
50g melted butter (liquid)
1/2 sachet baking powder (yeast, in little bag)
a pinch of salt
1 egg
75ml of milk
flavor like you want (I put 2 soup spoon of cocoa powder for 6 of them)
you can put a lemon zest and its juice for white ones, or let them nature.
put in oven for 20min, position 6

Well I gave it a go, I was aiming for a batch of pacman cakes with sugar balls as the pill-things but I botched it a few times and here's the best I managed to get out, I like to call it The Pacman Failcake:
That's supposed to be a map in the middle but it all went a bit wrong, lol.
I tried Layton with a puzzle and that went even worse:
So then I gave up on the theme, got the sprinkles out and it all got a bit silly and very very pink from there:
In conclusion... I kinda suck at decorating cakes!
On the flip side I took them to a party last night and they said they tasted nice, so at least even I can't screw up a basic plain sponge with chocolate chips
