Hart, I'll answer here instead of PM in case anyone else comes across this topic.
Pretty much any SLOT-1 (the DS slot, as opposed to the GBA slot) flash card will do fine for you. Don't take this as a guarantee, but even an awful Wal-Mart flash card like the Games 'n' Music would theoretically work for this purpose. Those are way too expensive for the product you get (slow, crippled, unsupported), as there's cheaper, better stuff available on the Internet. My recommendations since last time remain the same: for a flash card newbie I'd recommend something like the EDGE or the CycloDS Evolution (which actually use very similar UIs; the EDGE is just missing a lot of features the Cyclo has). They're very intuitive cards (my wife uses a Cyclo, and had zero knowledge of flash cards before getting it), so as long as you can handle things like extracting archives and copying files, you're pretty much in the clear. If you're comfortable with something a bit more complicated, the Acekard 2 is a fantastic choice: it has a very full feature set, and frequently receives updates from the AKAIO team. I'm comfortable saying it's a superior card to the EDGE. While it lacks some of the advanced features of the CycloDS, it's a highly serviceable card, and AKAIO even has a few features over the Cyclo. Just as a guide, the Acekard and EDGE are both "budget" cards, while the Cyclo is a high-end card. If you're only going to use your card this one time, for transferring your save, the cheaper cards should do the trick. If you're intending to use them regularly though, the Cyclo should be on your list of possibilities. Personally I'm very happy with my AK2, so don't feel that you need to spend a lot of money to get a good card.
As Heran Bago mentioned earlier in the thread, it would also be possible for you to use a GBA linker (a cable which connects your PC directly to a GBA game) to copy your save across, but these are getting rather rare these days, and are rather specialised, whereas a flash card gives you a lot more options like playing backup NDS ROMs and homebrew games and applications. You'd also be paying about the same amount or possibly even more, so you might as well go with something that's a bit more fun. As such, the rest of this post will assume that you're getting some variety of SLOT-1 flash card.
Since you already have Pokémon Emerald and LeafGreen, all you need to do is get Rudolph's GBA Backup Tool (Rudolph no longer hosts this because of DRAMA, but it's mirrored all over). This is a homebrew application which should run from any decent SLOT-1 device. You take your save file/s from your emulator and put them on your SLOT-1 card in a directory called "GBA_Backup" (this is the default, you can change it if you want). Make sure the game you want to copy your save to is in SLOT-2 (Emerald/LeafGreen) and put GBA Backup Tool in "Save Restore" mode. Now, just select the save you want and it will be copied to your commercial GBA game. You should now be able to start up your DS in GBA mode and resume your game from where you left off in the emulator. From here, you've done all the technical stuff; all you need to do is go into the Pal Park or whatever it is you do in Pokémon Platinum (I have zero experience in this area, but it shouldn't be too complicated) and go get your Pokémon. If you want to do this with both GBA titles, you can copy the appropriate save to each and do the Pal Park stuff twice. That's about it, really. If any of that sounded too complicated, just ask and I'll try to explain in more detail.
