Hacking gba expansion for m3ds real

hmm i didnt kno if could only read 128 files. so im guessing the numbers on the cht names represent the rom numbers? where can i find out what numbers my roms are? a friend of mine ripped them from me long ago so i dont know where to download these roms. im not asking for a rom site. i just want to kno where i can find what number they are.

ok i just got my gba expansion pack. i just have more questions.
1. what is the difference between high speed mode (fast load) and slow speed mode (patch mode)? i get the part that one takes longer but what pros are there to using the slow speed mode (patch mode).
2. what are the button combination to enter the cheat menu while im playing the game?
3. what are the button combination to enter the real time save menu while im playing the game?
4. would leaving the gba expansion in the ds lite use its battery?

GBA Instant Save Menu
Steps:
======
1. Make sure the "gba expansion pak" has been inserted.
2. Select the "enable" from the "instant save" option after selecting the game.
3. Press "A+B+L+R" while playing the game to call "instant save menu".

that was from a text file on that site that takes forever to download


im not really sure the difference between the loading systems
I just use the long one, the other one tends to cause problems in some roms

also if a rom doesnt boot, disable the quick save option


it shoudnt really effect the battery at all
at least not mine, I get like 5-6 hours and I have mine in 24/7

is there any way to bring up the cheats menu while im playing the game? wat program do i use the edit the cht files? ive found that the cht file doesnt have the cheat i want. and does the expansion pack save directly to the micro sd or does it save on the next boot up?

no slot-2 expansion can save directly to the microSD.
only slot-2 standalones can do that.

ok. i kinda found that out the hard way after playing final fantasy 5 for 3 hours.... oh well. i can always start over. how can i edit the cht file? there is like no good cheats on this cht file.

1) different modes have different compatibility.
4) for some it does, for some it does not. Might be related to Sakura using it as swap memory.

ok ive found that you can just open the cht file with wordpad. anyone kno wat kinds of cheat codes it supports? can i use gameshark cheats or something?
