Hacking Gateway to install BBM ?

Hi, i have two 3DS, both of them are old : one in 9.2 which have an emunand + cfw installed on it and the other one an XL in 4.5.. The thing i wanted to know is how can i use Gateway on my 3DS to install 3DS (and by that CIA) BigBlueMenu ? by using BrowserHax ? it will change something on the gatway or nothing ? thanks

place BBM.3ds into the micro sd that you use with the red card
place BBM.cia into the root of your sd
enter in your emuNand, launch BBM.3ds and from there install BBM.cia
