Hacking Gateway online question

Now lets say you do turn on wifi to surf internet-browser? IS it safe?

What if you do turn on online for lets say pokemon, what would actually happen.

could u get banned eventhough it doesn't work?

When you are playing a rom from Gateway card, you can't go online. It gives error and doesn't let you online, so you won't get banned.

The worst and only thing that can happen is that it downloads an update, you press yes to it and then agree with the terms and conditions, updating your 3DS.

Im just curious what actually prevents online. 0_0 doesn't make sense...

so I don't know how it works u know... Maybe it would connect but just not be able toplay.

GATEWAY prevents online. GATEWAY, you know, the name that's on your flashcart. If you want online Pokemon, get a retail cartridge.

I was wondering as well, why online does not work on roms? It must be a mission for Gateway to get it working else I would of thought they would of implemented it in an update by now.

God gateway gives you multirom and 110% comparability and a day later everyone is already like "waaaaahhh gateway I can't play online fix ittt " be patient maybe it will happen maybe it won't at least they give u the ability to still play online with retail!

Yes m8ty were all pleased by Gateways recent updates but you need to remember online play is a major part of what playing a game is all about! So you carn't blame him really for asking the question.

Not laughing at the OP, though. I have some "strange" (in a good sense, of course) questions some times. The difference is that I dig deeper to find answers before turning to the forum (again not blaming neither pointing fingers at anyone, please).
