When i am in Gateway mode, the 3ds asks me to do a system update sometimes
Of course i have wifi off but the reminder is annoying is there a way to make it stop ?
Im fine with deleting game data or other stuff if i have to

I have a New 3ds on 9.0 both normal and GW mode

Gateway mode in sysNAND or emuNAND ?

If sysNAND = format your System Memory (NAND).
If emuNAND = delete your emuNAND, and format again using Gateway menu.

Can't you enter into fail-safe/recovery mode in the New 3DS like in the Old 3DS? (in Sysnand, I say)
The would delete the nag without needing to format the NAND, so no hassle and no data loss.

Emunand is the one that shows GW 9.0 in system settings right ?
If so then emunand. Because when i turn the 3ds on its in sysnand ( or am i wrong ?) and it does not ask for an update

I haven't tested it myself, but I believe someone else said that you can't reach Recovery Mode when booting emuNand, unfortunately. (The entry point is after the check for the button combination, I would think.)

The update nag appears only once in emunand. You ignore it and it never comes back (maybe until a newer update is downloaded, if that's possible)
