Hacking Gateway help

hi just got my gateway 3DS today i updated the cart to 2.1 every time i boot into gateway mode my flashcart does not show up is there anything I am missing I just put the .3ds files on root of the sd card

EDIT: nevermind I didnt press select button i got it to work

i read the guide so question how do i do RTS on the gateway??

just save your game as normal
RTS in gateway's case is just instantly moving the save file to the SD card where as pre-omega you had to press HOME->X to save the actual game file

thanks for answering my questions for being new to the gateway
one last question do i need to use the blue gateway card in the future to update the gateway card and launcher for newer card firmwares with updates from gateway??

you can run the gateway installer file on any DS flashcart, it doesnt have to be the blue gateway card
so far the installer hasnt been updated since 1.2 was released, but all you do is replace the launcher file on the 3DS sd card to update it

if you boot a DS mode flashcart then you must run the gateway installer again for the gateway to work
