Hacking Gateway Hard Crash?

Yoh all, needing advice on this one. Got a friends system here and trying to hack it for him, but I've come to a deadstop straight away. Basically when I try load Gateway through the browser, it hard crashes the entire system the moment that the garbled/glitchy screen appears. The system is on 9.4, and I've been at i a while now. I can't use Decrypt9 to backup either since that requires 9.2 or less. So, anyone either got a solution to getting this working, or have something else that I can through the homebrew channel to back-up the nand/ install EmuNand?

Edit: Tried launching Gateway through Homebrew Channel already, but it black screen crashes.

You need 9.2 dont you.

Gateway doesn't currently work on anything higher than 9.2

You have acces to Homebrew right? Just format the system and downgrade using PlaiSysUpdater.

No. Unless you get a hardmod.

If there were you wouldn't need to downgrade.
Try to learn a bit about this stuff sometime, ya might have a little fun.
(If you learn enough you may also ditch Gateway entirely, but what you do there is up to you)
