MCC is famous for just doing preorders and making you wait forever for them, so I wouldnt do it.
the delay could be them trying to get it working on the latest FW or something too; id really wait.
dont preorder it at all, wait untill its released, and dont update past the FW it supports when you order it.
people will tell you it sucks or w/e but remember that it supports EVERY GAME released up till now.
if you have to miss a few in the future, untill you go through them, so be it IMO.
or you could do what a few others are doing
and buy a 2nd 3DS for just that flashcard.
keep in mind a few things:
1) people will say "1 save per cart" so you HAVE to get more then 1 sdcard... well guess what, even if you had 5 sdcards, youll still over write the save IC when you change them
so logic would say 1 card will hold 1 game with its 1 save. so 1 sdcard is all youll need to play - but youll have to back up each time before you put the new game on there.
it will have to be 8GB imo.
So basically " copy your SD to a zip file on your PC, or make a 1:1 mirror image with a drive copy tool " when you write that back it should restore the save file with it.
2) the current 3ds library is around 280 games, with about 100 of those for USA systems (the card cant cross region they say so) with the flash card being $80
and each game running (being generous ill say $20 each) and you play only HALF of the library - $20x 50 games = $1000
so dont listen to anyone screaming not worth it, especially since most of those games are in fact $39 to $49 and not 20.
in most cases 2 or 3 games and its paid for itself. having said that; i dont agree with piracy and THATS the reason i say u dont need this card
wait for a good one that can run homebrew. (whos to say this one wont be able to when it comes around though?)
i dont recall them saying if its FW was upgradable or not (another reason to wait for actual release)

ppl will no doubt argue this post, but really think about some logic here. especially about the save file
simpley chaning an SDCARD will not magically back up a save IC. one will be enough if you dont mind
file swapping each game change. just remember to back up BEFORE you overwrite.

but there is no guarantee this was taken off modchipcentral a very well known modding/hacking site that sells stuff like that. Just wondering if anyone knows any other sites that have released the Gateway 3DS today.
