often created with a "O" and a "0", so 2 id for the same game but just one goodGreat job on the PAL games! I fixed a few 0/O a couple days ago but there must be some of them left out there. sometimes it's B/8...
I think AirG is "guitar", there's no need for specific accessory names given by the publishers for those instruments. It could be useful to know you need this particular guitar, but the loader would need an icon for it.

I would love to be able to access the DB when I am in front of my computer. You mean, in front of your computer and offline? Is that even possible nowadays?

WiiTDB is a bit of an "Onlinelist", but you can unzip the file and use any XML editor with grid view like xml notepad as dj_skual said, or use Altova Authentic which is free, or write an html page using XSL to look at the database on your browser, offline. If you do that please send it to me so I can put it as a download on the site.

(hdhacker meant Hibern, and dramatically was meant in a good way)

I do have to say I'm missing a few full covers. Sonic and the Black Knight and Another Code: R, to name some. Is there any particular reason for this, or are they simply overlooked?

Sorry , i'm not sure to understand your sentence ^^
iben ?
why dramatically ? (well my english is not perfect lol)

Oh, I'm sorry, I misspelled it.

You has posted stuff like:

73 frontcovers US (idem)

what is "idem"?

EDIT: Also, I can't confirm the existence of RB5E41.

idem = ditto
It seems like it was released as part of a compilation, but we need someone to confirm it was released as NTSC, and on it's own disc.

I've added descriptions and other info to a ton of PAL games, but there's still a lot to do. >_< As a suggestion, perhaps you could make a page that displays games which are missing a description, image, discart, etc.? It would make it easier for the contributors to fill in stuff without going manually page by page.

It is planned, I'll change the main list to add a column that will show if some info or artwork is missing.

I had the same problem with RB5P41 while uploading the fullcovers.
In fact , it's a part of a bundle (called "double time") which contains 2 games :

- brothers in arms : Road to hill 30
- brothers in arms : earned in blood

road to hill is RB5P41
earned in blood is RI8P41

i can read the IDs on my fullcovers.

but i don't know if there is a special ID for the bundle (double time).
i think we should consider them as 2 differents games , and forget and delete this "double time" from the database.

I think it's the only game that came in a bundle like this one (2 games for the price of one)

i've made a few research on IGN and gamespot , and it appears to be the same in NTSC , a bundle with 2 games inside.

I agree, the database should match the code of the game, not the artwork used to bundle the games together. Unless both games were on a single disc, it makes no sense.

this morning i've edited RB5E41 and replaced the "double time" title with "road to hill 30"

in the mean time i've deleted all the "double time " artworks.

Like you said , the "double time" artwork is a simple sheet of paper used to bundle the games together.

hello guy's
i've done a .xls file containing all my ID, Title, sha1,md5,crc
i've extracted this database only when i'was sure that the game was not scrubbed or dumped with a wbfs format
perhaps you could done an automated integration in the WiiTDB

i've send you a PM zorglub07 like the link is only avalaible for 10 DL
so i can't post like no other people need this file to manage with the database

thx for all your hard work

have you seen about the new PEGI colors code: Green (3+,7+), Orange (12+,16+), Red (18+) since 09/06/2009 ?

can you add support for titles.txt for loader that doesn't have support for wiitdb file yet?
I'm not sure I understand what you mean, you'd like a titles.txt to be generated from the database?
This would be easy to do, but it's as easy as adding support to read titles from WiiTDB in a loader.
I think it's best to move forward and it couldn't be more simple to add it to any loader really, even for those that are not based on Waninkoko's original.
We can discuss this in PM, send me the source

Thanks for the crc file dj_skual, it will be added to the database.
If anyone else feels like filling the checksums in the database, you can use this program to quickly generate a list of crc+md5+sha1 for your unmodified .iso : http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/hash_my_files.html
You just need to add the game ID and send me the file as .xls or .csv

I have a suggestion about the checksums, the problem with the curent checksums is that you can't compare scrubbed, wbfs-.ISOs and untouched .ISOs with each other, right?
On IRC I read that every Wii game has a checksum saved inside (in the TMD or so? I have to investigate again). This checksum is only from the game partition which is not changed while scrubbing or "WBFSing", if there is a easy way to calculate this checksum from an ISO wouldn't it be better to use this one?

I just inserted a game, and uploaded covers, but I don't know how to upload 3D covers. There's no option for it. Do the 3D covers get automatically created from the flat covers in a batch process?

yes.
you can't upload 3D covers for the moment.
Because too many people are uploading wrong 3D covers in wrong sections.
and in a near future (something like 1 or 2 days) , 3D covers will be created from the flat cover
wink.gif

PS : please double check what you do before to hit the save button , you've written the EN synopsis in the FR section
wink.gif
(i've corrected it)
and always be sure there is no cover with correct rating before to upload the one with "RP" rating
that is mentioned in red when you upload something

You're right, if there is a way to use that one, this is the checksum that should be used to check the games on WBFS, or identify a scrubbed disc.
I'll add a new checksum field for this as soon as there is a program that can read/check this checksum from an iso or on a WBFS partition.
But the regular checksum is still a must, to identify an iso as "untouched" (even though it's decrypted).
