Hacking GameTDB - game information database + covers

Im having an issue, if someone can help me that would be great. Everytime i go to download a cover I get a black screen dump, does anyone know what im doing wrong. I put http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover3d in my custom path under the second option page. I get the info for the games using the wiitdb.zip but i cant download any covers.

im using wifi, my wifi seems to be working because i can use my internet channel.

also to confirm, im clicking on the blank cover to download the cover correct. This is driving me nuts.

there something wrong with the downloading. I could down load cover art, but it sometimes does not download the 3d art or the disc art. what could be the proplem? Can i just downloaded manually and store in the sd card? How would i go about doing this?

I put http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover3d in my custom path under the second option page.For loader GX you shouldn't have to set any custom path to download 3D covers from wiitdb.com.

3D covers are generated automatically so none of them should be missing if there is a regular cover for that game.
You can download individual images at wiitdb.com but there are no cover packs (yet).

The site is not back yet, but cover download should work.
If you find you are missing some covers, you'll be able to add them to the site when it's back.

Edit: site is back, uploading is disabled for a day. in the meantime you can send me the artwork and it will be added.

I noticed the server got a lot of requests for the "disk" folder, maybe a loader is not configured properly or maybe someone put "disk" in a tutorial?
The correct folders are "disc" and "disccustom".
The official spelling for Wii discs seems to be Wii optical disc.

Question... is there any way to get a hash from a disc in your DVD drive without actually dumping the disc to your hard drive? As in, can you hash check on the fly?

I don't think this can be done for Wii discs. This is not a problem for regular DVDs, but as far as I know for Wii discs you either need a particular LG drive, or dump the disc from the Wii to your SD card.

Yeah, google image is a good way to find perfect pictures. Did you see the Google Image Search links I added? quite handy...
There is probably a lot of imperfect artwork on the site, but I already checked and upgraded the first 14 pages of EN covers/3D covers, so rest assured the goal is quality

For now, custom disc artwork can't be downloaded from Loader GX, so if you are looking at custom discs this is perfectly normal. You could use CFG Loader to download them. If you can't download original disc artwork from GX and the picture is on the site, please tell me the game ID so I can check.

Those are all custom disc artwork, so as I told you they can't be downloaded from GX for now.

RDOP41 have a strang EN name or a bad cover (maybe an english man can correct the name or the cover)

Actually, I'm talking about Wii backup discs - ones that have already been copied and burned onto regular DVDs. So if you know something that can hash check a regular DVD that will do the trick.

I dont know what the problem is, but alot of the cd art. Have not downloaded, but when I go to the website the cd art is there. Also the Trauma Center : Second Opinion shows up as second Opinion on the cover floader loader. Is there away to correct this to show up next to the other trauma game?
