You're right about that, although that would be a hassle imo.
Piracy is like reselling a game, piracy needed money and reselling a game needs money.
Although what's different is the first is uploaded via internet or ripped into a bootleg, and the other is a legit game but with a few cons.
Imho, piracy is affecting our games, but only to little-moderate degree.
And the hacks being patched was inevitable.
Plus, game dumpers have a few issues themselves.
We're not yet close to the PSP homebrew days, but we're almost there.
