Hacking Games Blacking Out

My friend got a R4i Gold from Xmas and I put on WOOD R4i Gold v1.20 on it. He has been reporting that games are 'Blacking Out' while playing the game, mainly During cutscenes or paused. The DS screens both go black but the DS itself remains running. He said he has mainly been playing Megaman ZX and Elite Beat Agents, and it happens on both.

Does anyone have similar problems? or know what the problem may be?

EDIT: He has a DSL in case that makes a difference.

ok, is the games patched for the AP issues?? cause i think both of those games has black out issues with the ap

He apparently had a short temporary blackout on only the top screen, which after he pressed a button fixed itself. After that and with it mainly blackout out when he leaves it alone for awhile or watching cutscenes (aka no interaction) I have to raise an eyebrow

. I doubt it is AP related since it is the newest version of wood, but I suppose it might be possibly related somehow.
