The GameGadget is UK developed system being marketed as "the iPod for Games". The team behind it has designed a bit of software that provides a secure DRM system of delivery. It will allow developers to receive revenue share for every game that gets sold. Currently the system has a handful of Sega Mega Drive/Genesis titles available for it. There has been a bit of interest from the Homebrew community, but not much has come of it yet. Current reviews are rather negative, as they are quick to point out the lack of software available. The system does look interesting and we will be keeping a close eye on any future software releases and its Homebrew scene.

Guessing it will be relatively expensive too ($99?).

Frankly don't see why anyone would be too interested in this, especially since the psp, nintendo ds, and ipod touch/iphone have lots of good emulators and homebrew programs already, (and future 3ds and vita emulators/homebrew.)

How would this device be superior to any of the above mentioned in any way?

The ability to emulate shit properly past the NES/GBC (for DS) and SNES/Genesis (for the PSP)?

can't the Pandora do all this for FREE? (if you know where to look..)

For about 12 times the price!

There are about a hundred better devices to compare this with. Canoo/Wiz/Dingoo/GCW Zero are all much closer in the price range, and allow you to play the games 'for free'

To the best of my knowledge the real problem with SNES emulation on the PSP is the damn co-processors. Those just flat-out require a powerful CPU; a dual-core ARM11 going to be particularly helpful with that, even if SNES emulation is better understood on ARM than it is on MIPS.

one word replies are rather useless. are you saying that the specs are wrong? are you continuing the conversation and saying those specs won't work with snes emulation? or are you simply saying you don't feel those specs are any good?

From The Rules said:
When replying to a topic, don't; unless you have something meaningful to say or something that will contribute to the discussion. Posts such as "Yes", "I agree", "LOL", "When will it be dumped?" or "When will it be translated?"; and nothing but images/emoticons or internet memes are useless and are wasteful on the servers. This is not GameFAQs or 4chan!

not really interesting, since we basically get things that can do that and then some , the spec is also unattractive and only look like it really caters to very retro games (below PSX), screen reso also look worrying
