Well okey maybe the topic doesn't say it all but wth =P Anyways i just suddenly got my hands on two gamecube games on my computer and i expected the same old same old, seeing a bunch of .rar files one after the other and then extracting them and viola a .gcm or .iso file of the game...but sadly that wasn't the case...instead of .rar files it said like .001, .002 etc. And I have no idea what to do with them

I mean the game is divided into many smaller bits like you would expect but not in .rar form! =O What am i to do? Any help is apreciated ^^

Um, I used to use a proggie called HJSplit back in the day that used .001, etc file extensions. It breaks up the game rather than compressing pieces.

I have seen RARs with number extensions before, does WinRAR recognise them?

Alternatively, you can try HJSplit, that outputs number extensions when files are split with it.

Winrar doesn't recognise the files =( Tried using HJSplit and tried to join them together which i think it did..but not into a .gcm or .iso file T.T

You have to right-click on the file instead of double-click and select >open with winrar and it should work.
Or try to open winrar first and open the files from there.
Either way it has to work, I've been using winrar from the DC days and it always worked with this kind of file.

Thanks a bunch guys it worked!

But Zelda collectors thingy and Starfox didn't work T.T (well starfox worked but the sounds were like not working in some parts and with zelda i get to the menu where you choose the games but when i do choose one it stays black)...is there a list on which games that do and don't work? I tried shrinking them with no succes and trying all the different modes to start the game with and i also tried not shrinking them but the same think happened..
