So, I have had a modded gamecube for years. Modded with a Ninjamod chip. worked fine. But decided to blow the dust off of it the other day. Still working. But my son hit "flash bios 2" from the menu... and now it will not boot at all. Powers up but nothing onscreen or disk accessing. I removed the chip thinking it would take it back to stock, that the chip was just flashed wrong. Still same issue. Nothing boots. Any ideas? Or someone I could send it to??

ninjamod wasnt a drive chip, but a complete ipl for gc chip -

you're better off asking emu_kidid

but it is weird that you actually removed the chip already and you're still getting black screen, did you solder the leg back on the board?
Afaik one is lifted for the ninjamod install

just read a few docs for it,
there are 2 banks, bank 1 is shell, and bank 2 the user programmable -

just find how to switch to bank 1 and maybe you can reflash the bank 2

thats a interesting question. I installed this chip so many years ago I do not remember lifting a leg...but I would be that may be it. I can't seem to find a installation diag for it. But I would like to know what leg is removed

OMG>>>> Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou.... That missing leg was my issue. Soldered it back and its good to go. Man I thought it was shot. Now to get me a drive chip and be done. Hope I can find one local in the states
