Hacking gamecube saver problem

Hey I just downloaded the Gamecube Saver and I'm trying to use it with the HBC, but everytime i think i got a save onto my memory card, it doesnt show up. This is annoying because i had to delete my save to try to put a new one on. Anyone have any advice?

ok 1 make sure its in the right folder GCsaves i think it is on the root of the stick, then make sure its name extention is .gcm, try naming it like 2 letters like zelda WW would be WW.gcm animal crossings AC.gcm

you have to make sure its a short filename (ab) and it has to be in .gci format. some game saves wont copy over.

hmmm, well it was in the right folder, and the filenames were 2 or less characters...maybe I just got unlucky with the game saves...
