Well, that will depend on MIOS/ GC loading method/ Modchip. If you don't have any modchip but softmod, I'd install Waninkoko's cMIOS v5, then on screen you'll need to press "z" (while you choose the game from loading screen) to enable swap discs. Do it, load game then save.
Some modchips allow multi disk but under certain requirements..
