HOW TO: Install gamecenter on iPhone 3G
game_center_logo_biz.jpg

When apple released IOS 4.1 many users were excited, untill now: apple decided that they would not add support for the iPhone 3G in Game Center and only those with a iPhone 4 or 3GS and iPod Touch 2G/3G and 4G can get it preinstalled with the ios 4.1 update and onwards
BUT...
some people have managed to port the Game Center application to the iPhone 3G. with the steps below
Instructons

1. Update your iPhone to ios 4.2.1 via iTunes, then jailbreak by following the jailbreak guide by iFish and Dialexio
2. open up cydia-> search-> GC Patcher and then proceed with install
3. afterwards again open up cydia-> Manage->sources-> add

4. open the repo, then find the Game Center app and proceed with install

5. Congratz you have sucessfully installed Game Center. now reboot your iPhone and then sign up, then you may want to check out the Game Center username list add some friends.

EDIT:if some games cannot connect to Game Center, then all you do is open up settings, scroll down to GC Patcher then check the enable Patcher is on, and also enable it on the games that have Game Center enabled, ie FruitNinja and AngryBirds
