Got myself a new laptop recently, which is a massive upgrade from my previous desktop. Desktop couldn't handle ANY game beyond year 2000.
So yeah, i am looking for recommendations for games after 2000.

Games i am playing:
Elder Scrolls V Skyrim
Saints Row the Third
Deus Ex Human Revolution
Sonic Generations

Games i plan to play:
Mass Effect 1 and 2
Assassin's Creed Series
Prototype

Games i plan to try emulating:
Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2
Final Fantasy X and XII
Xenoblade
Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
LoZ Wind Waker
Luigi's Mansion
Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2
Super Smash Brother Brawl

This is the laptop i am using: http://www8.hp.com/emea_middle_east/en/products/laptops/product-detail.html?oid=5116525
Game should be playable, graphic settings don't matter.
Any game suggestions are welcome, aside from rhythm or dance games.

I wouldn't really recommend Prototype; I enjoyed it, but it wasn't all that great or memorable. With so many other games to choose from, it can easily be skipped.

Going off of emigre's post, definitely get Portal 2 once you beat the original, and the Batman: Arkham X games are pretty excellent, though I'm not sure how well the PC ports hold up. As for Emulators, definitely try out the Timesplitters series (2 and 3 are the best).

I can emulate Wind Waker and Twilight Princess just fine on a Desktop that cannot handle Skyrim, so chances are you'd be able to emulate them as well.

Thanks, gonna go for HL2, Portal 2(Beaten Portal) and Arkham City.
Tried Minecraft before, didn't find it to my interest, just not creative enough, not sure if i will like survival :C

I'd suggest skipping Mass Effect 1 and going straight to 2. The story is nothing to write home about (unless you use it as virtual sleeping pills), and the second gives you a summary if I remember correctly.
ME2 has some fun gameplay. It's a lot better thought out than ME1.

Two Worlds II is an open world RPG. It's pretty fun. It doesn't give a LOT of freedom, you can't just kill everyone you feel like. But it's still fun.

Gothic 4. Open world RPG, again. Pretty solid. I enjoyed it for a while anyway. The other Gothic games are decent too.

Dunno if it's your kind of thing, but Mount&Blade is a fun as hell series, especially online. I'd go with Warband if you got it. The latest version (With Fire and Sword) removed a bunch of features and has a pretty small online community. In Warband it's fairly easy to find 100v100 fights to join in on. Just...watch your back, I swear I died to noob teammates more than the enemy...."50 arrows in my shield, and I die to one arrow in the back of my head..."

If you like strategy-type games, Kings Bounty: Armored Princess and Might and Magic: Heroes VI are both very fun. Aside from having to deal with Ubishit's AP features for Heroes...

If you haven't played them on consoles, Bioshock 2 and Dead Space 2 are both fun, and look awesome on PC.

Dungeon Defenders, it's an action Tower Defense game. It's fun as hell, and collecting better and better gear is addicting.

That's about all I can think of off the top of my head.
