So I changed my SD card from exfat to fat32 because of which I had to format everything and make a new emummc, and one of my cartridges [others do work] no longer works on it [sysMMC with atmosphere works fine though]. It says "The software was closed because an error occurred." everytime I open it. I have a mod for it, which I tried deleting, but that didn't fix anything.
The game is Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Hou. I have tried removing masagrator's english patch but it doesn't fix the issue. I tried an old SD card with a different emummc [exfat] and it works for some reason.
