yes. but it is not even close to usable on the s6 yet. it's like an unofficial super-unstable pre-alpha release candidate

CM is very close to the stock Android experience (a la Nexus phones) but with many additional features. It has a lot of support and updates too. Unfortunately not even calling works on the s6 last I checked. It worked great on my S3 though; the phone was a million times better with it.

Yes, it works for that. Just make sure you find the correct flash file so that you don't end up bricking
