Android Galaxy S2 root

So any got a reliable tutorial for a Galaxy S2 rooting? all the tutorial i found all over, is either riddicolously complicated or well insecure

Which carrier is it on?

it's on Vodafone australia for now, its the white s2 if that makes any difference

I thought you lived in the US where it would matter. I found this guide. I believe you reboot to recovery on the GSII by holding the power and volume up button while turning on.

I am not on ICS firmware orz , Ausssie haven't got it yet. Thanks though, I guess I will wait for the ICS to come over first to aussie then try to root it
