    Soft-reset support updated
    [IMG] [IMG]
The G6/M3 Team have released loader version 3.2 for their non-identical-twin cards. This version apparently fixes the lagging intro in the Castlevania games when played on slower access speed micro SD cards. It also fixes soft-reset compatibility with a large number of ROMs. See below for more information and for a local download mirror.

Thanks to dsrules for the news.

Wrong pictures in the news post? Those 2 cards don't use MicroSD and have 100% speed [IMG]

can confirm, it now does run the Dawn of Sorrow intro perfectly. Everything else seems fine (Sandisk 6GB Class 4)

The G6 Real does not need a micro sd since the memory is built in. But the M3 Real does require a micro SD, I have one with a 4GB A-Data card.

What exactly is the problem? I haven't started the game yet, but I upgraded my G6 Real. What should I look for?

I hex edited the menu.eng, so that it has the nicer font.

To use, just replace the menu.eng in /system/ with the one you downloaded. Only works with Eng menu?

You don't know about the "moogle screen of death": "Thank you for playing" ? Well, you play the game normally for more than 20 minutes and if you change rooms in a dungeon or the game has to load data in any other way and you can still play, there is nothing to fear [IMG]

There is a patched version of the rom flying around, so it's not very important to me, but I think M3 team has kind of forgotten this card [IMG]

The intro to DoS lagged for me even on a class 6 A-Data card. It doesn't with this new update but there are occasional pops in both the video and the audio. Marked improvement, though, and it's good that they are taking the time to address the issue
