Hacking G6 ds real

On one website I was reading that the ds real was too thick. since it wasnt metioned in this review I was wondering if it was true.

GBA_Temper is WRONG. There is a small chip that sticks out under the sticker. Barely noticeable and doesn't make a difference, but it's there.

You want a thick card? Try a Ninjapass X9. I have had no problems inserting and ejecting the G6 DS Real...either of the two I have. They pop in and out with ease just like a real card. Yes, the board chip pertrudes from the casing, but it is not a tight or even a mild fit at all. To me, it's nothing to be labeled bothersome.

I found in my review that it is very tight and actually rubs on my DS Lite, although my wife's DS Phatty was smooth as butter going in. I can attest to it scratching my sticker and I'll post images if you wish. Its just too thick and causes rubbing. But the NinjaPass X9 is worse.

Actually GBA temp did notice it, but it's not really "too tight." It's just a bump because of the chip in the middle of the G6 DS Real. It's kinda like how the NINJAPASS X9's chip sticks out in the middle, but negligibly smaller. Either way it IS easier to get out than the NINJAPASS X9.

I tested it in another DS Lite to be sure and it was still just as tight as mine. Although I don't know why the DS Phat has more room? Perhaps my PCB sticks out just a tad bit farther than others? Lol, I don't really care about the sticker but I would really rather see the G6DS Real released in white instead of classic Nintendo grey.

héhé, i have that with my EZ Flash V!

Fits perfect in my phat but rubs a bit in my DS Lite, due the little chip that lifts up the case a little bit.
