ROM Hack Question .g4tx file in Yo-kai Watch 4

hello,

im very new to nintendo switch hacking, so this may be a noobish question. however, i have tried googling what a .g4tx is, and only had minimal results. they appear to be graphical files, however, i dont know how to view them. i found a discussion on ni no kuni, and their .g4tx files contained .dds files. however, it seems that yokai watch 4 doesnt do that.

i opened one in a hex editor, and it has .icon files, however not all of them do.

so, my question is, what is .g4tx, and how would i view/convert them into a common image format?

It's an archive for files. At the beginning it contains some informations (maybe sizes of files?), then names and probably after them data of those files.
