Hacking FW 4.83 And BSD Question

Hi guys. It seems that the PS3 has been updated to System Firmware 4.83. I use BSD (Bruteforce Save Data) for save editing and am wondering if it is safe to update my PS3 to 4.83 and still be able to use BSD? Thoughts and help greatly appreciated

Ok, I will hold off as long as I can. Thing is, don’t I need to be on latest to use cross save? I use that for some of my games such as Trails of Cold Steel 1 and 2 on PS3 and my Vita...

Does anyone know if BSD works still with PS3 OFW 4.83? Main concern is that I think I need to be on latest OFW to use cross-save for games that support that feature. I do use cross-save for Trails of Cold Steel 1 and 2, Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD Remaster, etc. Thoughts and help GREATLY appreciated
