Fusee-STARTER - Payload launcher on Atmosphère 0.8.3+

Description :

Fusee-STARTER is a sort of modded version of Reboot-To-Payload from Atmosphère-NX.

It can launch (fusee, hekate, argonNX) from ams 0.8.3+.
All payloads are included in the nro, that mean no others file are needed to launch them (base payload).

Sources :

Check github https://github.com/Thomleg50/fusee-starter/.
Sorry the code isn't really profesionnal.

Releases :

You can get release on Github : https://github.com/Thomleg50/fusee-starter/releases/.

If you have any suggestion of payload , please make an issue.
Thanks

This is big!
This could literally be done with Atmosphere and simply replacing the reboot_payload since 0.8.3.

The "main" benefit arguably is to launch into hekate to be able to then remove the sd card to move some big files onto it, the reinsert it again, and launch atmosphere again. (hekate allows you to hotswap the sdcard).
This can be done without needing an external payload injector.

Also once you've replaced the reboot_payload with hekate, you can basically load into any other payload, because you are in hekate.

but, it's not amazing
Legit just put argon nx as the reboot payload and boom
boot any payload
not just what's hard coded into the nro

this is super unneeded

you can keep rebootpayload.bin and use that instead more easy and convenient

okay, but the payloads are packed into the nro
If a payload was to update, we would THEN have to wait for thom to update it

or you can just replace reboot to payload with argon nx payload and use both atmosphere and argon for their intended purpose.

Not looking for an argument, but it's these types of negative comments that see projects get abandoned by the creators.

It looks quite useful to me tbh, but then reading the rest of the comments they're just putting it down as unnecessary.

More encouragement and positivity is needed sometimes.

I understand your point, but your comment let's me know that you don't know thom

I'd never say this to anyone else, but I hope he does abandon this
Do yourself a favor, and replace reboot to payload with hekate or argon nx payload
now you will be using what a legit developer made for it's intended purpose

How is that possible ? If my Switch is in autoRCM after turn off. This will turn CFW on without need a PC/MacOS with fusee launcher and payload files? A little bit confused.

Oh :( So this doesn't works with Switch being shut down. It would be nice.

Then I am sticking with macOS/PC version every time if my Switch is shut down. Thanks I guess.
Latest atmosphere will turn off your switch and reboot it into a payload if you turn it off with holding the power button and selecting "power off"

It will also reboot into cfw if you select reboot

I know already and its awesome but I am talking about the shut down completely if it is crashes or something like that. I hate to do that with PC/macOS every time if it does that. LOL.
