Hacking Funny noise

Hi guys, its been awhile since i posted on the boards, but lately when i play games using my backup loader, sometimes you know how the drive sounds when its reading the game and such right? well sometimes during gameplay the drive sounds like it screechs, something similar to that, it starting to worry me abit, this only happens with the backup games. The Disks are completely scratched free, and I've had each burned game for a while now, with no disk read errors whatsoever, no errors at all! So what could this be? is this normal?

my wii suffers from loud drive syndrome. i cant help you, but maybe something wrong internal.....

my vibrates so much, i can feel the floor virbating from my hallway. i think theres something wrong xD

Ahaha, wow, thats no where near how my wii is... that sounds horrible... but thats not helping me with my issue lol,

Yeah, its just that stupid screeching type noise is kind of worrying me, I mean it could possibly be since the games run at 3x speed, that the wii has to read em more. but i dunno, im asking people here to see.

mine is so loud all of the time. it doesn't matter if i'm playing backups or originals, if the there is a disc in the drive it is loud.

i do have a modchip installed though. the weird thing is that when i first installed it a while back it wasn't loud but now it is. i have opened my Wii up a bunch of times and tweaked parts of the drive so sometimes it is quiet but most of the time it is quite loud during gameplay.

my Wii noise isn't a screeching sound though. that actually sounds like it may be scratching discs. my noise is just a very loud hum.

Mine sounds like that too. It's only when I play Brawl (not a backup) or my backup disks. It sounds really bad with the Japanese Animal Crossing.

Yeah thats what it sounds like, if it were scratching, but it only happens with games demanding like COD WaW, its like loading normal the usual noise, then that scratching noise, but my discs are PERFECT! So i dunno lol.

Mine always makes those scatching sounds, but my Wii runs fine. Been like that for over a year.

You've been running backups for over a year now? Im afraid of my laser dying, or something, and the replacement parts are damn expensive!

Its called Drive Seeking as far i know.
The lense is moving fast in different directions, which makes that noises.
