I believe the leaker said DLC was a lie he just wanted controversy, also it's rumored Dr. Mario and Dark Pit are placeholders from that build and will go in the Final as Alts., also rumored Bowser Jr. has no recolors just Koopa Kid alts., and All Star Mode was locked so that means there is still some hidden characters.

I hope you are right. Seing Dark Pit and Dr. Mario after saying that there won't be Chrom because he would be a clone character is a dick move imo.
Especially since Dark pit is literally a recolor.

Yea and Dark Link and Shadow Zelda showed up in screenshots today as Alts. so Dark Pit would have to be really different to truly deserve a spot as with Dr. Mario, I know he had stronger hits in Melee but it should really be an Alt. not a seperate character.

We don't know how much of a clone DP will be. So that's an assumption.
Also, if I remember correctly, Dr. Mario was faster and less "heavy", also, he doesn't have fludd. I think it's a good move.
