I wonder why Sakurai says we don't get Chrom as a Character because of how clony he would be yet we see a Dark Pit in the rooster.
I hope it's not one of these Sakurai reasons internet loves him for.

This man's put his heart and soul into making this game, and having his dramatic reveals. While having leaks to games can be a fun experience for the fans, I feel bad for Sakurai.

I wouldn't take sides so easily. We don't know the true origins of the leaks. Sometimes leaks can be symptoms of internal abuses.

it's rumored that snake will be a DLC.

So far, two sources have claimed DLC, and they are the following:

However, I seem to think the first leaker is the correct one (if there is a correct of the two) simply because:

Chorus Men enemies are in Smash Run, and Mach Rider, Ridley and Impa seem fanciful at best. I may be wrong though! Who knows! Also, Ice Climbers are in Smash Run (the enemies, I mean) so I'm sure they'll be back as un-leaked DLC. The guy who made the game (Sakuri, or whatever his name is) mentioned he was having trouble with implementing them into the 3DS version, early in-production, so he may be a final DLC character. It's a pretty safe assumption that MewTwo is back (given that he's got a mega evolution) and that Dixie is here too, since, well, that's a common character, as well, in the two leaks.

Oh, that one was confirmed fake. Can't remember who said that though. But look at my two things above. Also, GameXplain had a good reason as to why Snake probably won't be back.

As I suspected, until Nintendo/Sakurai confirms the credibility, I won't believe the roster at all, some of those characters don't seem feasible at all, esp. Shulk. If Nintendo won't release *ahem* that character, it'll either be done via DLC or by other means. It happened in Brawl (by yours truly), it can happen in this iteration.
