Hacking full body skin protectors?

Anyone have exp with either of these? opinions? Or should I just pickup a Hori screen protector and a body skin from decalgirl? I'm more interested in keeping scratches off than dressing up my ds.

Are you guys having any issues with the invisible shield covers? My friend's cover on the battery is discoloured. Instead of remaining clear like the rest of the skin, it is now grey.
