Homebrew Friend Module keeps freezing when booted

I remember this happened before when my NAND's were still linked. Unlinking them and then logging back into my Nintendo ID seemed to have fixed it for me.
Edit: I could be wrong, but this just worked for me when I had this problem.

Edit: I could be wrong, but this just worked for me when I had this problem.
I'm unlinked and have rebooted many times to no avail

I tried that. It said that it's up to date. The last thing I remember doing is putting in my pokemon Alpha Sapphire cartridge in
The last thing I tried when this happened to me. I backed up my NAND, then used tinyformat on my emuNAND. From there, I restored my NAND and it worked.
