Hacking Freeze when returning to home menu

When exiting camera, messages and other nintendo apps, 3ds freezes when pressing x to exit.
Everything else is working fine, 3ds was hacked using soundhack, after installing al9h i changed region from JAP to EUR. Any idea whats wrong?

By "Nintendo apps" do you mean stuff like Web Browser and Miiverse?

nintendo apps which in lower left corner have x to exit, browser is among them
the moment i press x, it shows white upper screen and on lower it says home menu, it should last a second, but it freezes

Sometimes for me it lasts 30 seconds, just try and wait.

Don't format it. Also, is it a new or old 3DS?

That's probably it. Also, why exactly did you region change?

Ah ok, well, I don't know much about region changes, so try to look for someone else. Sorry I could not help.

btw, why not format it? it will not delete a9lh, its currently on 11.3 fw

I have the same/similar problem. I updated to 11.3 from 11.2 yesterday with luma 6.6. Since then sometimes when I close a homebrew app it's just freeze. It just stay in the suspend screen. Or when I turn off the screen goes down but led stays on. Happens about 5/1 of times.

Updating to hourly luma build seems like solved my problem. Or at least I didn't experienced freeze in 9-10 close. You should give it a try too!

Try to format the 3DS by System Settings and see if the problem still persists
