If you download a game from Nxshop with you switch to your microsd card , in wich directory is it saved ?

guys, haven't been around for some time..if i use tinfoil on reinx to install nsp that i got from pc (not from freeshop), does that still mean that a can be cert banned if i play offline only? im not banned yet at all but i've been using only homebrews and emulators..and since reinx now is out and i can easily install nsp's, i want to try out some eshop games. Or should i still wait?

You won’t be banned since you’re not using your own certificate

it uses ur own cert the .cert isn`t even a cert lol the actually cert for cdnsp is a pem file, that cert file should be the header for yooka laylee cuz we asked the guys who update cdnsp builds and the guys like that's not a cert its the header everyone's using

I've use it only once, doesn't it ask for a cert file?
thats because it uses your console cert
it doesnt need to ask for it because it knows where to find it

Were CDN bans an actual thing or was it just mass banning of abused certs?

Im sure the auth of cdnsp bob said it was a change in how the cdn worked which caused his app to stop working and not the actual cert thats being used.

Shogun is behind dauth now, and they banned certain certs from all CDN. So both, otherwise there wouldn't be a need for new certs nor that several certs have lost complete CDN access.

They'll eventually either move part of Atum behind dauth or continue to blacklist cert abuse.

Cheers for the clarification :)

Either way, we should be safe from a complete ban unless you are kicking the arse out of the CDN with your own cert :)

They can issue (and probably should/will) for NSPs, frankly. No way to get those with out either having abused CDN or direct piracy from someone who did. Its really just a matter of how draconian they want to be with the methods they use to crack down on CDN abuse.

The more they issue bans, the more people will stop sharing certs, so it can sort itself out fairly passively on the long term any way. But I'd expect changes to Atum since they've already issued a fairly sweeping change to Shogun by putting it entirely behind dauth which was probably done as a test bed before larger changes are put over Atum.
