Anyone knows if the wii u has something similar to freeshop on the 3ds where you can download the games directly from the console? Kind of knew to this jeje sry already know about downloading the games from a computer and then installing them unto the wii u but want something to install it direct to the wii u

It has nothing to do with WiiU's internet speeds. It's literally built to download games from the eshop. It's something the console literally supports out of the box as an official function.

As for the question at hand, no. The 3DS doesn't even support that anymore. What you will need are WiiU USB Helper (google it) and WUP installer GX. Download the game, put it on an SD card, and install it to your console. Alternatively, you can use a version of Mocha that supports fat32 USB drives. That's what I did. Put my downloads on a 64gb flash drive and installed them from there.
