    Title

I'm wondering this because Nintendo's themes are really good but paying for them sucks.
We can already download GAMES from CDN, so why not themes?
I only ask this because the packs online aren't always 100% up-to-date.

    EDIT: Also name ideas:
    freemeShop
    themeShop
    threemeShop
    TFCDN [Themes From CDN]
    theme-CDN

I only say names because I'd like to throw ideas out there.

I thought this thread was about adding theme compatibility with Freeshop after FBI having some themes :P. Let's throw in some custom bcstm too! Freeshopthem.es

And it's the same as freeShop, why not just download CIAs from that ISO site?
    Because of convenience
Sometimes someone sets up hacks on another person's 3DS who doesn't have a PC, so freeShop is super helpful in that situation
So themes would be helpful too.
Another thing I'm thinking is that it could also download themes from 3dsthem.es and have a custom themes section. Of course, you would install them as CIAs, however

You could, in theory, seeing as they are stored the same way, they just have to be downloaded all at once.

Use CIAngel, (freeshop doesn't allow key input) get the key for Home Menu (Themes) from the 3ds dot titlekey site, then input it in and download all the themes. Once you go to the theme menu, it'll want you to delete some (it only allows 100 at once) and delete the ones you don't want.

    Alternatively, CHMM2.

Ah, that's actually a smart idea!
Also, if the themes are stored in that title key site then we COULD make a themeShop, where it somehow only reads theme title keys.
Not sure if it's possible or not but hey no harm in trying

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't all themes have the same title key?
or is that unique ID only?

Or just search "theme" on CIAngel, since they're named "Home Menu (Themes)".

Each region has its own titleid (Well, Japan has 4 packs, EUR has 2, and USA 1), but yeah, all themes seem to be contained within "DLC" packs, and CIAngel/FreeShop just mark DLC as "All owned" essentially. It could technically be possible to mark individual themes as owned, as far as I know. However you'll probably run into the issue where visiting the eShop at all wipes out the themes, since they're home menu DLC.

Themes are an all or nothing download from the servers, just like all DLC. We haven't found a way to exclude certain DLC/themes, nor do we want to. Would you rather download all the Smash DLC, or just Corrin and a Isabelle Mii suit?
