Homebrew PS1/2 Freemcboot doesnt work

hii i have problem with how freemcboot doesnt seems to boot at all , but when i check it on memory card menu you can see it, did my FMB get corrupted ? , it said corrupted data ,someone please help

Did it work before with the same console/Memory Card?
What model of PS2? Certain (latest) 9000x models are not vulnerable for FMCB.

Try (re)installing it on another Memory Card.

i think so , the think is , this is my friend ps2 and it is has been years since last time he boot this console, he said that it is working just fine before , and to answer your question, as i know, yes it did work with the same console

i cant , this playstation have a bad drive so it cant run dvd

Nope, not without a modchip. With the Modbo 5.0, you can boot ELF files from a USB. The DVD drive is not so hard to replace.
