Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

Hacking Freeloader semi-bricking???

Sup guys, I have wiikey 1.9g, FW 3.1U, NTSC Wii

the thing is, the freeloader works great, but it seems whenever I'm playing with a Jap game, and wanting to exit to wii menu the disc channel will lock and keep on reading the disc over and over again, when I go to push eject it won't eject, then I hard reset the Wii unit and then try to eject it still won't, so then I hard reset again but this time I hit the eject button quick then the poor thing eject the Jap game, the game was Choro-Q Jap.

I was wondering is my Wii okay, is this normal??? when I play the game again and was done with it, I don't press the the home menu no more and just eject the game then turn it off.
