Hardware Found development disc for Wii on Ebay

Hey guys, I was looking through ebay and I found a “development disc” for $20 (£16)

Nevermind, looking at the description it is just a blank disc

That is in fact a blank RVT-R disc. Basically identical to a single-layer DVD-R, but with specific information written in the MID area that identifies it as a Nintendo disc, which is required by the RVT-R Reader and Writer units in order to recognize the disc.

If I remember correctly, that area is written slightly differently compared to standard DVD-Rs, so a regular DVD-R drive won't recognize it at all.
