Hacking fortnite won't work without switch update

I have a switch with SX OS and now I get the message that I need to update the switch to play fortnite.
Since there is no SX OS update yet for the latest switch update I can't do this.
Does anyone know a solution for this?
Maybe switch to Athmoshere??

Switch to atmosphere, you can go with this guide.

add the SX_loader payload in bootloader/payloads to run sxos from hekate

That's the content of sd:\emummc\emummc.ini so hekate/Atmo can use SX OS's created emuNAND.

you could update the sysnand and leave the emunand for sxos. or setup another emunand on another sd

Wait before adding sx payload, do you have a mariko(red boxed) or an erista model? If it is erista is it patched or unpatched?

I'm not too familiar with SX but if you have it running in a EmuNand then can't you just update the SysNand and leave the EmuNand on the lower firmware for SX? Atmosphere lets you do that if I remember correctly. (Not saying I'd recommend sticking with SX since it appears to be dead development-wise. Just that it could be an option.)

Just update your Sysnand and play. Nobody's forcing you to update your SX EmuNand.

Guys if you are here to comment about fortnite you are in the wrong thread, stay in topic.
@MustangBE it is not required to switch to atmo, you can just update sysnand online without an issue. But I would still recommend switching to atmo.

I installed the sx os files on a sd card and made an emunand.
I can start the switch in CFW or OFW.

You should still consider switching to Atmosphere as it may seem that TX will no longer provide updates for their CFW and newer content is going to require higher firmware versions.

I updated the switch but now the CFW won't start anymore.

Saves should still be there provided you use the same EmuNand/SysNand. Same with games.

dont play online running cfw, play on an unmodified console.

this is a #1 rule, also should have looked into it before updating as sx os and cfw break if you update firmware.

you now made life harder, to play online and risk been banned.

i installed the atmosphere files on the sd card as shown in the tutorial.
When i start the switch (power and "+" button) i get into the SX OS, select options , payloads and hekate_ctcaer_5.5.7.bin
Hekate starts and i select launch > atmosphere CFW i get error "unknown pkg1 version hos version not supported or emuMMC corrupted.
When i select stock sysnand i get error "pkg1 decryption failed
